Elizabeth A. Davis

Being Endowed

March 27, 2015  /  Elizabeth Davis

Creating something isn’t easy. It takes guts and determination and naiveté and elbow grease. In my experience it requires failing a lot and deciding to get back up, keep trying even though you feel like you’ve been steamrolled, then put in a toaster and popped up charred.

Even still, this isn’t masochistic. It’s being alive. It’s being in your calling, I believe. Just because something is hard doesn’t meant it’s wrong; it probably means you’re on to something right and your work ethic and passion is what’s going to be required for next steps.

I believe we are each endowed, gifted, breathed through with a calling and a purpose. When it’s terrifying, walk into that shadow of death and fear no evil.
